Recently I have been moved by the actions of a “Forever Friend”. We don’t speak to each other every day and haven’t seen each other for years, and yet it’s always a joyous occasion when we finally do. A Forever Friend is one of those friends who is tuned into your heart’s desires no matter where you are or what you are doing in your life.
I’d had a moment of doubt and fear lately. For a moment I had forgotten a motto that I have said to myself for years: “What’s the worst that could happen?” Fears might sometimes seem practical, but they are not. Fears may seem to keep us from stepping over a cliff into the unknown, but they can stop you from reaching your full potential. Sometimes it takes someone outside of ourselves to remind us of our ability and help us forget our fear.
Just when I was feeling a little doubtful about things my “Forever Friend" began sending me inspirational messages via text a few times per week. These texts often moved me to tears as I wondered how from miles and miles away her texts could perfectly address the doubts and fears I just happened to be entertaining at the time. The answer? She didn’t know.
God did.

God knew my Forever Friend was the best tool by which I would be inspired. God knew that by hearing from her specifically, it would reignite my resolve to pursue my aspirations without fear. I am learning to pursue my aspirations with faith and grace. God knew I could hear from her and be moved to action. Pay attention to the many gifts God gives us! They are often wrapped in different shapes and sizes! Be thankful for the Forever Friends in your life that are show up right on time, because God knew to do that for you.
